Role of Consultant

To make certain that the results of the human health risk assessment (HHRA) are conclusive and provide reliable, scientifically defensible data, HBMS has hired Intrinsik Environmental Sciences Inc. (www.intrinsikscience.com) to conduct the study. This independent investigation by skilled, experienced professionals in the science of risk assessment will meet the most rigorous scientific requirements, and will provide a definitive report on what the soil levels may mean for the health of the community. The governments of Manitoba (Manitoba Conservation) and Saskatchewan (Saskatchewan Environment) are providing regulatory oversight for the Flin Flon HHRA. HBMS is paying for Intrinsik’s services, and is directing the HHRA.
